ABOUT THE FOUNDER 

 

David McGarry began his career in construction over 30 years ago and founded Protec Finishes in 2014.

 

David's construction experience goes back to 1985 in the Vail Valley (Colorado) before he moved to the Carson Valley in 2003. His experience includes the construction of custom homes, retail centers, casinos, custom metal buildings, office buildings, hotel renovation, manufacturing, warehouses, airplane hangars and various tenant improvement projects; with projects ranging in size from relatively minor remodels to over $20 million construction budgets.

 

David's professional and community involvement includes LEED AP, past residential appraiser in the State of Colorado, Design Review Board for various HOA communities and coaching youth hockey and soccer.
